I’m pleased to say I was asked to sit on the committee/jury for the 2009 Philip K. Dick award, which is given for the best novel originally published in paperback. It’s given annually at Norwescon. If you’re interested in past winners, Wikipedia has a list here.

I am a BELS-certified copy editor in the scientific, technical, and medical industry. I specialize in medical journal work. I'm also an unaffiliated acafan involved in several fandoms, and I administer a fanfic archive. I’m a founding coeditor of the academic journal Transformative Works and Cultures. In my fan studies research and my work on SF literature, I am particularly interested in the intersection of history, narrative, and time. I regularly teach aerobics, and I occasionally teach English as an adjunct. I live in Jay, Maine.
